Most Beginners Don't Need a Trial.
They Need a Starting Point.
Walking into a regular Jiu-Jitsu class can feel like entering a conversation in a language you do not speak yet. The movements are unfamiliar. The positions have names you have never heard. The people around you may have trained for years.
Foundations changes that. You begin with other new students and learn the sport in the order it should be taught. Each lesson builds on the one before it, so you understand not only what to do, but why you are doing it.
By week six, the mat makes sense.
A Structured Path,
Not Six Random Classes
Weeks 1 and 2: Learn to Move
Build the movements, safety habits, and positional awareness that everything else depends on.
Weeks 3 and 4: Learn to Defend and Control
Understand how to stay safe, improve your position, escape, and control a partner before attacking.
Weeks 5 and 6: Put the Pieces Together
Connect the positions and techniques, practice making decisions, and prepare to enter regular classes.
Every week builds on the last. You are never expected to figure it out alone.
Earned, not given.
What You'll Be Ready
to Do by Week Six
You will not know everything after six weeks. You will know how to train, and what to work on next.
