& Membership Terms

By reserving a seat in the Foundations Course, you agree to the following. This is the whole agreement for the course and for the month-to-month membership that follows it. You will not be asked to sign anything else unless you choose the annual plan.
1. The Course
The Foundations Course is a six-week beginner program. $299 per adult student and $249 per kids student, uniform included. Each student is a separate purchase. Your six weeks begin with your first class. Enrollment is rolling; you may start the week before, the week of, or the week after a group begins.
2. Paying for the Course
$99 is charged today to reserve your seat. The remaining balance ($200 adults, $150 kids) is charged automatically to the same payment method seven days before your start date. You will get a reminder before the balance is charged.
3. Refunds and Transfers
The $99 deposit is refundable until seven days before your start date. After that it is not refundable but may be transferred once to a later group. The remaining balance, once charged, is not refundable except as required by law. Uniforms are not returnable once issued. If we cancel a group before it starts, you get a full refund or a transfer, your choice.
4. What Happens After the Course
When your six weeks end, your membership begins automatically as a month-to-month membership, billed to the same payment method, starting the first Monday after your last Foundations class. The standard monthly rates are:
- Adult: $209 per month
- Kids: $179 per month
- Family of four, any mix: $549 per month
- Each additional household member: $142 per month
Your rate is the standard rate for the program you selected at checkout. Family pricing, when it applies, only lowers that rate; we will confirm your exact number before your first membership charge. You may cancel before the course ends at no charge by emailing info@bttbridgewater.com or giving written notice at the academy. We will send you a reminder with your start date, your rate, and how to cancel at least seven days before your first membership charge.
5. Your Consent
By checking the box at checkout you expressly agree to the automatic membership described in Section 4. This consent is separate from your agreement to the rest of these terms.
6. Month-to-Month Membership Terms
- Renewal. Renews each month until cancelled. No minimum term, no initiation fee.
- Rates. May change with 30 days' written notice; a change applies from the next billing date after the notice period.
- Billing. Charged automatically on your billing day each month to the payment method on file. Charges appear from BTT Bridgewater (BTT Studio LLC). Keep a valid payment method on file.
- Failed payments. Retried after 3 and 7 days. If unpaid 14 days after the billing day, mat access is suspended until current. No late fees. Repeated failures may result in cancellation with written notice.
- Freezes. Up to two whole calendar months per year with 30 days' written notice, not billed. Medical freezes are not limited with a doctor's note. Requests to info@bttbridgewater.com.
- What's included. All regularly scheduled classes for your program, open mat where offered, belt promotion testing at no charge. Private lessons, seminars, competitions, and additional uniforms are not included.
- Household accounts. The account holder is responsible for all members on the account and all charges. Adding or removing a member changes the total from the next billing date.
- Conduct. Every member signs a Participation Agreement before training and follows academy rules and instructor direction. We may suspend or cancel a membership for conduct that endangers others, with written notice and a prorated refund of any prepaid unused month.
7. Cancelling Your Membership
After your first membership charge, you may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice by emailing info@bttbridgewater.com or giving written notice at the academy. Your final charge is the billing date within the notice period, if any. No refunds for partial months. We confirm every cancellation in writing; if you do not hear from us within 3 business days, contact us.
8. Annual Plan
You may switch to a 12-month plan at any time at the annual rate (Adult $179, Kids $159, family of four $499, additional member $119 per month). The annual plan is a separate agreement you sign when you choose it.
9. Your Rights Under Massachusetts Law
You may cancel this agreement within three business days of accepting it by written notice, for a full refund of any payment made. You may also cancel with a refund of any prepaid unused portion if you move more than 25 miles from the academy, if you become unable to participate because of disability or death, or if the academy closes or moves more than 25 miles. 10. Schedule and Facility
Class schedules may change with notice. The academy may close for holidays, weather, or facility needs without adjustment to monthly charges, except that closures longer than 14 consecutive days will be credited.
11. Communications
We use your contact information to run your enrollment and membership. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time; enrollment and billing notices will still be sent.
12. General
Massachusetts law governs. Disputes are brought in the courts of Plymouth County. If any provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect. These terms, the Participation Agreement, and (if you choose it) the Annual Membership Agreement are the entire agreement between us.
13. Electronic Acceptance
Checking the box at checkout is your electronic signature. It is legally binding, the same as a handwritten signature. You may request a copy of these terms at any time.
