Your First Visit

What to Expect

01

A real class, not a sales pitch

You train with the group from minute one — warm-up, technique, drilling. You’ll know by the end whether this is for you.

02

A personal welcome

Arrive 15 minutes early. A coach walks you through the space, the etiquette, and pairs you with the right training partners.

03

Zero pressure

Beginners drill with cooperative partners — no live sparring on day one unless you ask for it.

04

A clear next step

After class, your coach will take five minutes to answer your questions and recommend the right next step. You’ll see the schedule and full pricing before making any decision.

The Practical Stuff

Where & What
to Bring

Location & Parking

We're inside the Bridgewater Fitness building at 620 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, MA 02324. Park in the main lot and use the main entrance, you'll see us.

Wear

Comfortable athletic clothes — t-shirt and shorts or leggings. Trying a Gi class? We'll lend you a gi.

Bring

A water bottle and flip-flops for off the mats. That's it.

What should I wear or bring to my first class? +

Comfortable athletic clothes (t-shirt and shorts or leggings) and a water bottle. No gi needed for your intro class — if you try a Gi class, we’ll set you up with a loaner.

Do I need to be in shape to start? +

No. You get in shape by training — nobody arrives ready. Classes scale to your level, and you control your own pace. Showing up is the only requirement.

Is sparring mandatory for beginners? +

No. Live training is introduced gradually and only when you’re ready. Beginners drill technique with cooperative partners first — nobody is thrown into the deep end.
